Why we only fix two brands
Most appliance repair companies in NYC try to fix everything: LG washing machines, Bosch dishwashers, Whirlpool refrigerators, Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, Viking, Miele, GE, Samsung. Each brand has its own quirks, its own parts catalog, its own diagnostic procedures. Trying to be good at all of them means being mediocre at most of them.
We made a different choice. Our technicians spend every workweek inside Sub-Zero compressor compartments and Wolf range backsplashes. Our trucks stock only Sub-Zero and Wolf parts. Our service manager knows every Sub-Zero error code from memory. The result: faster diagnosis, higher first-time fix rates, more accurate quotes.
This decision costs us business. We turn away calls every week — Thermador wine cabinets, Miele dishwashers, Viking ranges. We refer those owners to specialists we trust for those specific brands. We'd rather lose those calls than dilute what we're good at.
Our team
Our technicians are factory-trained on Sub-Zero and Wolf systems. Most have 10+ years of experience servicing these specific brands. We don't subcontract. The tech who shows up at your door is on our payroll, drives our truck, and follows our standards.
We're a smaller team by design — six full-time technicians plus dispatch. That keeps quality control tight. When you call us back for a different repair in your kitchen, you'll usually get the same technician who was there before. They'll already know your building, your doorman, and the quirks of your particular appliance install.
How we got here
The company started as a single technician who left a factory-authorized service center frustrated with their pricing opacity and slow dispatch times. The first year was just him in a single truck, taking phone calls between jobs. Word of mouth grew the business — a doorman recommending us to a resident, a building manager passing our card to the next unit, an owner telling their neighbor.
By year three we had three trucks. By year seven, six. We grew slowly on purpose — adding capacity only when we could maintain our same-day promise without sacrificing quality.
Today we run six service trucks across NYC, serving Manhattan, Brooklyn, Westchester, Bergen County, and select parts of Queens and Long Island. We've completed over 50,000 repair jobs since opening.
What we won't do
- We won't service other brands. Even if you ask nicely. Our truck doesn't have the parts.
- We won't quote a repair over the phone without seeing the unit. We can give ranges, but a real quote requires a real diagnostic.
- We won't install used or aftermarket parts. OEM Sub-Zero and Wolf parts only.
- We won't pressure you into repairs. If your unit is past saving, we'll tell you honestly even if it costs us the job.
- We won't pad estimates with unnecessary work. Our quote is the repair you actually need.
What we will do
- Show up when we say we will. Same-day Manhattan and Brooklyn dispatch when you call before 1 PM.
- Tell you what's wrong honestly, with a written estimate before any work begins.
- Stand behind our work with a 180-day labor and 1-year parts warranty.
- Provide COI to your building within 30 minutes of booking, with the additional-insured language your management requires.
- Treat your kitchen with respect. We use floor protection. We wear shoe covers. We clean up after ourselves.
Independent — and proud of it
We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or certified by Sub-Zero Group Inc. or Wolf Appliance Inc. We are an independent repair company that works on these brands because that's what we're good at.
Our independence is what lets us offer flat $125 service calls, same-day dispatch, and 180-day warranties. Factory-authorized service centers operate on different terms with longer lead times and less price transparency. For most NYC owners outside the factory warranty period, an independent specialist like us is the better choice.
Our location and service area
We're based in NYC. We don't accept walk-in visitors (our dispatch and parts inventory are operations-focused, not customer-facing). Service is at your location — Manhattan, Brooklyn, Westchester, Bergen NJ, or surrounding areas.
See our full service area page for neighborhood-level coverage details.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are you Sub-Zero or Wolf factory-authorized?
No. We are an independent repair company, not a factory-authorized service center. Our technicians are factory-trained on Sub-Zero and Wolf systems and we install OEM parts only — but Sub-Zero Group Inc. and Wolf Appliance Inc. do not certify us. Most NYC owners outside the factory warranty find independents faster, more transparent on pricing, and more flexible than factory service.
How long have you been in business?
Over 15 years specializing in Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances in NYC. We have completed more than 50,000 repair jobs in that time.
Do you have a physical showroom or service center?
We have an operations facility in NYC for parts inventory and dispatch, but we do not accept walk-in visitors. All service is at your location.
What insurance do you carry?
NYC general liability insurance with sufficient coverage for luxury building requirements, plus workers compensation insurance for our employees. We can email a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to your building manager within 30 minutes of booking.
Do your technicians work for a subcontractor?
No. Every technician who arrives at your door is a direct employee of our company. We do not subcontract repair work.
